The Stryi community continues to upgrade its wastewater infrastructure. This year, the municipal enterprise “Vodokanal Plus” has carried out large-scale repairs of the wastewater treatment facilities in the village of Uhersko.
At the facility, the aeration system was modernised, new compressor equipment was purchased and installed, and a solar power plant was also set up to cover part of the energy consumption.
The total cost of the works carried out amounts to UAH 1.6 million. Of this, almost UAH 900,000 was financed from the local budget, with the remaining funds provided by the enterprise itself.
The community emphasises that modern wastewater treatment facilities are an important element of environmental safety, public health protection and the sustainable development of the area, so the modernisation of such facilities is planned to continue in the future.
