This week in Truskavets, work began on the reconstruction of the superstructure of the “Yuzia” spring and the relocation of the pumping equipment that serves this spring. Once the upgrade is complete, the structure is to be opened to visitors.
According to the city authorities, the work is to be completed by the end of November. It is being carried out by a team of specialists from Lviv. These same experts have already indicated their readiness next year to undertake the restoration of other superstructures over Truskavets springs – “Edward”, “Bronislava” and “Ferdinand”.
The Mayor of Truskavets, Andriy Kulchynskyi, in his comments explained why the reconstruction of the “Yuzia” spring has only now begun, and also spoke about the steps the city is taking to preserve the cultural and historical heritage of the resort. The comments were recorded on 14 October 2026.
