The Ukrainian Veterans Fund has announced an opportunity for veterans who officially hold the status of a veteran entrepreneur to receive reimbursement of expenses for developing their own business. Under the microfinance programme, the Fund reimburses costs already incurred for the purchase of goods and items necessary for running a business.
Reimbursement is provided only for expenses actually incurred: funds for future, not yet completed purchases are not paid. The maximum reimbursement amount is 20,000 hryvnias per applicant.
Veterans who are self-employed are eligible to apply, including:
- sole traders — first, second or third group single tax payers;
- persons engaged in independent professional activity.
