One of Ukraine’s engineering enterprises, Corum Group, has completed the production of a specialized two-level mining cage of type 2NOV, with a load capacity of 13.2 tons.
This equipment is designed to transport miners, VG3.3 mine carts, and other tools through vertical mine shafts. The manufacturer notes that the cage is built for operation in gas- and dust-hazardous environments.
Key specifications of the cage:
- Length – 4 meters
- Width – 1.46 meters
- Height – over 8.4 meters
- Weight – more than 6 tons
The cage is based on the standard 2NOV model, but has been custom-upgraded according to the specific requirements of the mining site that ordered it.
The expected service life of the equipment is no less than 10 years.
