Recently, the Verkhovna Rada passed a government bill to abolish the excise tax on fuel and reduce the VAT rate from 20% to 7%. As a result, fuel prices at Lviv gas stations fell.
If we talk about diesel fuel, the price of Ukrnafta decreased by 15%, OKKO and WOG – by 21%. The price of gasoline 92 and 95 was reduced at Ukrnafta – by 20%, OKKO and WOG – by 25%. Today, the situation with the availability of fuel at these gas stations is under control, “said Deputy Head of the Lviv Regional State Administration Yuriy Buchko.
He also stressed that the bill provides for a radical reduction in taxes and will stabilize prices.
“Affordable fuel costs are not only to meet the urgent daily needs of residents who travel by car or public transport, but also the smooth operation of critical infrastructure. It is especially important to reduce fuel prices at the start of the sowing campaign. Farmers must work, because the food of the region and the state depends on what they sow in the fields, ”Yuriy Buchko added.
The Deputy Head of the Lviv Regional State Administration noted that the administration is negotiating with EU countries to supply fuel as humanitarian aid to state-owned enterprises in Ukraine.
