The Economic Policy Department of the Lviv Regional State Administration presented an updated ranking of Lviv communities as of August 1.
The ranking reflects not only socio-economic development but also the contribution of communities to national security. Some communities, despite limited resources, allocate them to support the military.
“On this day, I especially want to highlight Kamyanka-Buzka City Council and Ivano-Frankivsk Town Council,” the statement noted. These communities have risen by +15 and +18 positions in the “Security Sector” category. The Velykomostivska community allocates 21.22% of its budget for defense, while the Sokilnytska community dedicates every fourth hryvnia.
