Servicewoman Iryna Donda has taken advantage of the state “yeOselya” programme and purchased her own flat for herself and her children. Previously, the family rented their home; now they are finishing the renovation of their new place and preparing to move in.
Under the programme’s terms for service personnel, the basic mortgage rate is 3% per annum. A further 3% is covered by Lviv Region, so the actual interest rate for Iryna is 0%.

Other male and female service personnel in Lviv Region can also benefit from these terms. Taking part in the programme involves several steps:
- submit an application for “yeOselya” via the “Diia” app;
- after approval, choose a partner bank and a property;
- a rate of 3% per annum applies for the military;
- Lviv Region compensates 3% per annum, effectively reducing the rate to zero.
