36 candidates will take part in the second round of the regional prize in the field of culture

It was scheduled for October 31.

Yesterday, October 24, the first meeting of the Regional Prize in the field of culture, literature, art, journalism and architecture 2023 was held.

“Today our state is standing and fighting the enemy. Therefore, our work should be constructive and produce results. The humanitarian block is also important. And in particular, our award, which is very worthy and significant,” said the chairman of the commission, the deputy head of the Lviv OVA, Ivan Sobko.

Those present got acquainted with the list of applications for the award, discussed and voted for the admission of submitted candidates to the second round.

In total, 37 candidates applied for the award, 36 of them were admitted to the second round based on the results of the meeting.

In particular:

Art studies and cultural studies – named after Svyatoslav Hordynskyi (history and theory of fine, decorative and applied, folk art

Serhii Bogdanov is the head of the Palazzo Bandinelli department of the Lviv Historical Museum. For research works on the history and theory of fine art, the scientific work “Portrait: Catalog” (2021)

Museum business – named after Hilarion and Vera Svientsytskyi (significant conceptual exhibitions, expositions)

Orest Malyts is the director of the Lviv Museum of the History of Religion and Olga Dyadynchuk is the head of the Antonychiv Family Manor Museum branch.
