How to prepare for the heating season in conditions of war: recommendations of the Ministry of Regions

The recommendations are suitable for residents of high-rise buildings and individual houses.

We hope for the best, we are preparing for any development.

As Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal noted, this heating season will without exaggeration be the most difficult in the history of independent Ukraine. He predicts a difficult but stable passage of it. There are necessary reserves of energy carriers, at the same time there is a real threat of attacks on critical infrastructure.

Thus, as of September 16, 349 objects of critical infrastructure in the field of heat supply, 11 thermal power plants and 3 thermal power plants were affected. On September 11, Russian troops attacked one of the largest CHP plants in Ukraine – Kharkiv CHP-5. Most of the region and the city of Kharkiv were without electricity. September 14 – an insidious attack on Kryvyi Rih. There is a threat of flooding of a part of the city.

All this confirms the enemy’s intentions to attack civilian infrastructure facilities.

Therefore, we should all prepare together for a possible attack in any corner of Ukraine. Anti-crisis plans will provide for all possible scenarios.
