At the communication initiative of the Lviv Regional Military Administration, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine together with the UN is launching two benefit programs for IDPs across the country. The decision was made during today’s government meeting, – said the head of the Lviv OVA Maksym Kozytsky.
“Forced migrants who need additional protection will receive 2,200 hryvnias a month for each family member. These funds will be paid by the UN World Food Program within three months. A separate Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees will help our low-income IDPs. They will also be paid an additional 2,200 hryvnias.
It is planned to cover 700,000 IDPs with these payments from donors. The first – 500 thousand, the second – 200 thousand.
