As of today, May 11, Lviv OVA has partially relaxed restrictions on the sale of alcoholic and low-alcohol beverages in the region
From May 11, during the period of martial law, business entities of all forms of ownership were prohibited from selling alcoholic and low-alcohol beverages (including beer) in the territory of Lviv region from 10:00 p.m. to 10:00 a.m.
This is discussed on the page of the Lviv Regional Military Administration.
Before that, the ban was in effect from 9:00 p.m. to 10:00 a.m.
As noted in the Department of Economic Policy of Lviv Oblast, the increase in sales time by 1 hour was introduced to restore the economy of Lviv Oblast by supporting business, ensuring the stable operation of enterprises, preserving jobs, and increasing revenues to the state and local budgets.
Such a decision will contribute to the increase of income from tax payments to local budgets, in particular, the excise tax on the sale of alcoholic products, which is 5% of the sale of these products.
