An up-to-date economic profile of the community allows local managers and businesses to make the best development and investment decisions.
The Agency for Local Economic Development of Yavoriv Oblast, with the support of the USAID “HOVERLA” Project, developed economic profiles for 10 Project partner communities in Lviv region.
“The current economic profile of the community allows local managers and businesses to make better decisions regarding development and investment. Today, the economy of the region was significantly affected by the factors of the coronavirus pandemic, and later by a full-scale war. The development of economic profiles of communities gives us up-to-date data on the economic parameters of these territories, as well as answers to the questions where internally displaced persons have the best opportunities to fully integrate into the social and economic life of communities, in which communities the best conditions for relocation and business development have been created, and in which In this direction, the infrastructure of the communities that sheltered the evacuated compatriots and businesses should be developed. We are grateful to the partners from USAID “HOVERLA” for the work carried out,” said Stepan Kuybida, director of the Department of Economic Policy of the Lviv OVA.
