More than 80 new jobs will be created in Lviv Oblast thanks to micro-grants

Based on the results of checking the business reputation, evaluating the business plan and conducting interviews with applicants for receiving micro-grants provided as part of the “eRobota” program, the State Employment Center made a decision to provide funds to 32 applicants from the Lviv region, who in the first decade of July volunteered to participate in government program for opening or expanding business activities and scored the highest number of points within the maximum amount of micro-grants.

“Approved applications for receiving micro-grants for 20 natural persons-entrepreneurs, 1 legal entity and 11 residents of the region who are just planning to start their own business, – said director of the Lviv Regional Employment Center Vasyl Barilyuk.

– With the funds of the grant program, the amount of which varies from UAH 148,700 to UAH 250,000, 28 people plan to purchase equipment necessary for conducting economic activities, and three – to purchase raw materials and materials.”

According to him, the analysis of the submitted business plans proved that the three applicants intend to expand the restaurant business or the field of providing mobile food services. Two will produce furniture for offices and trade enterprises, and the same number will provide services in beauty salons, including hairdressing salons. Others will be engaged in complex maintenance of facilities, construction of residential and office buildings, production of outerwear, knitted or crocheted clothing, accessories, shoes, products made of wood, cork, and straw. Someone will bake bread and bakery products, establish electrical connections, conduct activities in the field of photography or architecture, provide consultations on informatization issues, engage in trade, computer programming, installation of water networks, heating and air conditioning systems, etc.

At the expense of micro-grants, the total amount of which is UAH 7.3 million, the applicants plan to create 81 jobs in Lviv region, mostly in the field of production and service provision.

The business reputation of an applicant for a grant is checked by JSC “Oschadbank”, and the final decision on granting a micro-grant is made by the State Employment Center after evaluating the business plan.
