The regional institutions of Lviv have earned over 1 billion hryvnias in the first nine months of this year.
According to the head of the Lviv Regional State Administration, Maksym Kozytskyi, this is 353 million more than the same period last year. The largest share comes from paid services – 402 million hryvnias, while another 667 million are charitable contributions and other revenues. This indicates that the region’s institutions are becoming increasingly independent and efficient in their operations.
The head of Lviv region highlighted key indicators to pay attention to:
“Healthcare. Health facilities received 522 million UAH, 1.4 times more than last year. Education. Self-generated revenues increased by 2.2 times. Educational institutions earned 335 million UAH, 187 million more than last year. Social welfare. Over 102 million UAH of self-generated income, which is 20% more than last year. Culture and art. Revenues grew by 1.5 times to 62 million UAH. Sports. Physical culture and sports institutions earned 40 million UAH. Of this, only 2% are charitable contributions, the rest is from their own activities.”
Lviv region confidently demonstrates that stability can be maintained even in challenging conditions and new opportunities for regional development can be created.
