In 2025, businesses became the primary payers of personal income tax in many communities of the Lviv region.
Over 90% of personal income tax in the Slavske and Sokolnytsia communities was paid by business entities, making them leaders in this indicator. Overall in the region, the business share is 76%. More than 85% of the tax was ensured by businesses in the Murovanske, Morshyn, Bibir, Solonka, Pidberiztsi, Obroshyne, Rozvadiv, and Radekhiv communities. “These are the leaders of the Lviv region according to this indicator,” – stated the Deputy Head of the Regional State Administration Ivan Sobko.
In the Strilkivska, Turkivska, Khyriv, Biskovychi, Dobromyl, and Kozivska communities, more than half of the personal income tax came from budgetary institutions. Compared to 2024, the business share in income tax payment increased the most in Velykolyubinska, Bibrivska, Dobrosyn-Maheriv, and Zhuravnivska communities.
In the Morshyn, Sokilnytsia, and Stryi communities in 2025, the five largest tax payers were businesses. Meanwhile, only one representative of the business sector is among the top five largest taxpayers in the Dobromil, Rava-Ruska, Strilkivska, Turkivska, and Khyriv communities.
