In January–August 2026, 32.6 billion UAH in taxes and fees was paid into the general fund of local budgets in Lviv region. The eight-month revenue target was exceeded by 1.6 billion UAH, or 5.3%.
Over this period, 5.3 billion UAH was raised for the regional budget, which is 5.1% more than the planned figure. The annual target achievement stands at 71% for local budgets in the region overall and 73% for the regional budget. This was reported by the Finance Department of the Lviv Regional Military Administration.
The specialised department notes that compared with January–August 2025, revenues to budgets in Lviv region increased by 6.4 billion UAH, or 24%. For the regional budget, the increase amounted to 1.3 billion UAH, corresponding to growth of 32%.
The special fund of the regional budget, which receives earmarked revenues, took in 2.4 billion UAH in taxes and payments over the eight months of 2026. This is 57 million UAH, or 2.3%, less than in the same period last year.
Taxpayers in Lviv region transferred 134.8 billion UAH to the state budget in January–August 2026. Compared with the first eight months of 2025, revenues to the state budget increased by 27.9 billion UAH, or 26%.
