Local budget revenues in Lviv region exceed 10‑month target by 2.8%

Based on the results for January–October, UAH 41.3 billion was raised for the general fund of local budgets in Lviv region. This is 2.8%, or UAH 1.1 billion, more than the approved target figures. The key results were reported by Deputy Head of the Regional State Administration Ivan Sobko.

Over ten months, UAH 6.5 billion was received into the regional budget, which is 103% of the target. Annual target performance is currently estimated at 86% for the region’s budget overall and 87% for the regional budget.

Compared with the same period last year, revenues to the Lviv region budget increased by UAH 7.82 billion, or 25%. Growth has been recorded across all main types of taxes and charges. For the regional budget, the positive trend amounts to UAH 1.6 billion, corresponding to an increase of 32%.

Over ten months, UAH 3.0 billion in taxes and charges was received into the special fund of the regional budget, which records earmarked revenues. This is 3% less than in the same period last year, which is attributed to lower proceeds from the sale of property and land.

Taxpayers in Lviv region also transferred UAH 177 billion to the state budget. This is UAH 41.2 billion, or 30.4%, more than in the same period last year. Since April, the positive trend in state budget revenues has persisted and strengthened month by month.
