The Main Department of the State Tax Service in Lviv Region has announced a transition to an electronic format for informing owners of property and land plots about the amounts of taxes accrued. The data are now available via the Taxpayer’s Electronic Cabinet.
In the personal cabinet, users can see which property assets and land plots are owned by the taxpayer, the amounts of taxes accrued, information on tax benefits, the presence of any tax debt, as well as the details and links needed to pay taxes.
To receive documents from the tax service electronically through the Electronic Cabinet, the user must submit an application expressing their preference for electronic correspondence. To do this, they should log in to the private section of the cabinet using a qualified electronic signature, select the “Correspondence preferences with the tax service” tab in the “Settings” section, activate the option to receive documents, specify an email address for notifications, sign the application with their QES and send it.
The State Tax Service emphasises that the electronic format for document exchange is a convenient way to receive important tax information online in a timely manner.
