Lviv region is once again first among communities in terms of assistance volume for the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
\”Thank you to our Defenders!\” – stated in the message. Supporting the defenders is not only the task of the state but also the responsibility of every community. In the first 5 months of this year, over 1.36 billion hryvnias from local budgets in Lviv region were allocated to needs related to armed aggression by the Russian Federation.
The largest portion of expenditures was recorded in the Velykomostivska (26%), Sokolnytska (23.4%), Rozvadivska (22.3%), Murovanska (21.9%), Slavska (21.1%) communities, as well as in the regional budget (19.8%). It’s disappointing to see the Lviv community, which allocated only 5.9% for defense support, despite having a budget 2.5 times higher than the regional one.
The situation in Chervonograd (5.7%), Drohobych (1.3%), Brody (6%), Zolochiv (4.1%), Truskavets (5.1%), and Stryi (6.7%) communities leaves much to be desired. I appeal to the leadership of all communities in Lviv region: nothing is more important than supporting the army and our defenders. It is our duty to help together, systematically and regularly.
