
Lviv Region has secured eighth place among Ukraine’s regions in terms of the dynamics of tax and payment revenues to the general fund of local budgets in the first quarter of 2026. With a nationwide increase in revenues of 16 per cent, our region achieved a growth of 21 per cent. This was reported by the Deputy Head of the Regional State Administration, Ivan Sobko.
Compared to January-February, Lviv Region has risen two positions in the ranking, and compared to January, three positions. The region’s revenue growth exceeds the national average in almost all types of payments. As a result, Lviv Region ranks second in the dynamics of fees for administrative services, sixth in personal income tax, seventh in excise tax, eighth in land fees, ninth in property tax, and 14th in the single tax.
Only in terms of corporate profit tax does the growth rate slightly lag behind the national average – 6.6 and 6.8 per cent respectively (15th place). Lviv Region traditionally remains third in absolute terms of revenues to the local budget (10.9 billion UAH), trailing only Kyiv (29.3 billion UAH) and Dnipropetrovsk Region (14.7 billion UAH).
