
For the first time in three years, Lviv Region has topped the ranking of Ukrainian regions in terms of budget revenue dynamics.
As of the end of the first eight months of 2025, Lviv Region achieved the first place due to a 38% increase in land payment revenue. This allowed the region to lead the ranking in this payment, while overall in Ukraine, the revenue increased by 14%. \”This achievement was made possible by the efforts of taxpayers and tax and financial authorities,\” stated the director of the finance department of the regional state administration, Oleh Demkiv.
Lviv Region also improved its positions in the overall dynamics of revenues, personal income tax, and excise tax. However, the dynamics of revenues from property tax, fees for administrative services, profit tax, and single tax lag behind the state average.
In terms of absolute revenues to the general fund of local budgets, Lviv Region remains third in the state after Kyiv and Dnipropetrovsk. In terms of revenues to the special fund, the region is second only to the capital.
