In the first quarter of 2026, the general fund of local budgets in Lviv Region received 10.9 billion UAH in taxes and payments, allowing the planned targets to be exceeded by 678 million UAH or 6.6 percent. This was reported by the Deputy Head of the Regional State Administration, Ivan Sobko.
Compared to January-March of the previous year, the region’s budget revenues increased by 1.9 billion UAH or 21.2 percent. The overachievement of planned indicators and positive dynamics were achieved across all major taxes and payments.
In the first quarter, 1.7 billion UAH in taxes and payments were mobilised into the regional budget, which is 1.7 percent or 28 million UAH more than planned and 21.2 percent more than the revenues for the corresponding period last year. The special fund of the regional budget received 705 million UAH in taxes and payments, which corresponds to last year’s receipts for the corresponding period.
In January-March 2026, taxpayers in Lviv Region contributed 42.4 billion UAH in taxes and payments to the state budget. This is 5.5 billion UAH or 15 percent more compared to the corresponding period last year.
