Overall, the growth in all local budgets is 24.4 per cent, while in our region it is 23.7 per cent.
As of 1 October, Lviv region ranked 9th among the regions of Ukraine in terms of the dynamics of tax revenues to the general budget fund compared to the same period last year. In general, the growth of revenues to local budgets in the Lviv region was 23.7%, while in the country as a whole this figure reached 24.4%. This was announced by Ivan Sobko, Deputy Head of the Lviv Regional State Administration.
Lviv region ranks 4th in terms of land payment dynamics, 8th in terms of personal income tax, and 8th in terms of corporate income tax. However, the positions in terms of excise tax revenues (23rd place), real estate tax (22nd place) and single tax (16th place) need to be improved.
“Obviously, the aforementioned not very encouraging trends in certain taxes are of some concern and require more attention and more effective measures on the part of local governments and fiscal authorities of Lviv region,” Ivan Sobko concluded.
