The Financial Department of the Mostyska City Council has published the current performance indicators for the implementation of the Mostyska community budget as at 1 June 2026.
According to the Financial Department, in the period from January to May 2026 the community budget received 89,397.6 thousand UAH, which represents 105.9 per cent of the target. An additional 4,990.5 thousand UAH was received above the planned figures.
The main sources of revenue for the general fund were:
- personal income tax – 110.6% performance, an additional 3,580.3 thousand UAH;
- excise tax on excisable goods produced in Ukraine – 123.8% performance, an additional 135.6 thousand UAH;
- local taxes and charges – 108.6% performance, an additional 2,815.2 thousand UAH;
- single tax – 111.2% performance, an additional 2,302.2 thousand UAH.
Official transfers to the general fund were received in the amount of 115,608.4 thousand UAH, which is 99.9% of the target for the reporting period.
Revenues of the special fund excluding official transfers for the five months were executed at 426.1%: with a target of 3,090.2 thousand UAH, a total of 13,165.9 thousand UAH in taxes and charges was actually raised. Of this amount, own revenues of budgetary institutions to the special fund came to 12,996.1 thousand UAH.
In total, 191,023.1 thousand UAH was allocated to finance the community’s activities in January–May, including 176,607.2 thousand UAH from the general fund and 14,415.9 thousand UAH from the special fund. The funds were used, in particular, for:
- payment of wages and related charges – 132,878.8 thousand UAH;
- purchase of foodstuffs – 6,953.9 thousand UAH;
- payment for utilities and energy sources – 9,633.7 thousand UAH;
- other expenditure – 26,864.3 thousand UAH;
- capital expenditure – 14,692.4 thousand UAH.
During the reporting period, the community also financed a subvention to the state budget for the implementation of regional socio-economic development programmes in the amount of 4,313.0 thousand UAH.
To improve the civil protection system for community residents, software and hardware systems, terminal equipment and loudspeaker devices for public alerting were purchased and installed in the amount of 488.4 thousand UAH.
The budget of the Mostyska City Council also provides for interbudgetary transfers to other local budgets, in particular:
- Rudky City Council – 150.0 thousand UAH to reimburse costs for the provision of residential care services by the Rudky Social Services Centre of Sambir District of Lviv region;
- Shehyni Village Council – 500.0 thousand UAH for expenditure for pre-school and general secondary education institutions;
- Sudova Vyshnia City Council – 300.0 thousand UAH for expenditure for pre-school and general secondary education institutions, the children’s school of arts and the youth sports school;
- Lviv Regional Budget for the Municipal Non-Commercial Enterprise of the Lviv Regional Council “Lviv Regional Clinical Hospital” – 50.0 thousand UAH to reimburse the costs of preparing for the burial of the bodies of defenders of Ukraine fallen in the war with the russian federation;
- Municipal Institution of the Lviv Regional Council “Sudova Vyshnia Psychoneurological Care Home” – 150.0 thousand UAH to reimburse the costs of maintenance and provision of social services;
- Lviv Regional Budget – 220.0 thousand UAH to co-finance the purchase of a school bus.
The Financial Department emphasises that the timely payment of taxes and the repayment of tax arrears have provided additional resources for the community budget and made it possible to maintain its stability and development.
