
In the first half of 2025, Ukraine’s customs authorities identified 4,873 customs regulations violations totaling 6 billion UAH.
In 1,780 cases of customs regulations violations, items involved in the offenses were temporarily seized, amounting to nearly 370 million UAH. This includes industrial goods worth 213 million UAH, vehicles over 122 million UAH, food products over 33 million UAH, and currency worth 2.2 million UAH.
In 899 cases of customs regulations violations, including those initiated in previous periods, administrative penalties in the form of fines totaling 31 million UAH were applied by customs, collecting 31 million UAH for the State Budget, considering cases reviewed from previous periods.
Customs authorities referred 2,689 cases of customs violations to the court, with a total value exceeding 5.5 billion UAH. As a result of court reviews, including those initiated in previous periods, penalties (confiscation of goods and fines) were imposed totaling 2.5 billion UAH.
