This mechanism was launched last year.
The funds spent on workplace arrangements for 16 employees with disabilities totaling UAH 1.1 million were returned to employers in Lviv region (including those operating in Lviv, Horodok, Drohobych, Boryslav, Stebnyk and Turka).
This refers to the implementation of a program to compensate for the costs of arranging a workplace for a person with a disability of the first or second group. This mechanism was launched last year. Since then, 16 companies in the Lviv region have used it: Six limited liability companies (Modrychi Medical Rehabilitation Center, KRAFT INVEST SERVICE, Solonsko, West Barry, Fujikura Automotiv Ukraine Lviv, Galicia Steel), Drohobych Furniture Enterprise Karpaty of the Ukrainian Society for the Deaf, State Enterprise Lviv Research and Production Center for Standardization, Metrology and Certification, Collective Enterprise Mriya, and six individual entrepreneurs.
For example, last year, the state reimbursed the Modrychi Medical Rehabilitation Center (Drohobych) UAH 100,000 through the Employment Service for the purchase of a lifting mechanism for an employee who uses a wheelchair; Kraft Invest Service (Lviv), having employed a person with a group 2 disability as an accountant, purchased auxiliary means for organizing the workplace.
The management of Solonsko LLC (Drohobych), having learned about the program of compensation for the costs of arranging workplaces for persons with disabilities, provided a job for a labor protection engineer, a person with a disability of group 2, and also purchased auxiliary means for organizing the workplace for him.
Private entrepreneurs did not stand aside from the problem of employment of people with disabilities, hiring workers for such positions as: “woodworking machine operator”, “accountant”, “supply manager”, “administrator” and “security guard”. To ensure comfortable working conditions, the company purchased chair lifts and transporters, workplace aids, furniture, tables, seating, etc., and covered the financial costs through a program to reimburse the costs of arranging workplaces for people with disabilities.
