In the Truskavets community, 475 residents received assistance with utility bill payments

During the first half of 2026, 475 residents of the Truskavets community from among vulnerable population groups received assistance from the community budget to pay for housing and utility services. The total amount of payments was 2 million 37 thousand UAH.

Part of the funds was allocated under the Comprehensive Programme for Legal Protection, Social Support and Rehabilitation of Persons with Disabilities of the Truskavets City Territorial Community for 2025–2027. Under this programme, 216 people from families where two or more non-working persons with disabilities or two children with disabilities, a child with a disability of subgroup A, persons with visual disabilities in groups I and II, persons with disabilities in groups I and II without lower limbs, as well as single persons with disabilities in groups I–II, received monthly targeted cash assistance to cover housing and utility costs.

Another portion of the payments was made under the Programme of Social Support for Certain Categories of Residents of the Truskavets City Territorial Community for 2025–2027. An additional cash benefit — a 50% discount on the cost of housing and utility services — was granted to 98 people from among the family members of fallen (deceased) Defenders of Ukraine.

In addition, 101 persons from among the widows and widowers of political prisoners — victims of political repression, UPA veterans, rehabilitated persons and victims of political repression, UPA combatants, as well as citizens awarded the distinctions “For Merit to the City”, “For Merit to the Truskavets Community” and honorary citizens of the city of Truskavets, receive a monthly cash compensation for the payment of housing and utility services.

A separate block of support concerns orphans and children deprived of parental care. For 22 persons in this category, as well as for individuals from among them, foster parents and guardians/trustees, benefits have been provided for the payment of housing and utility services, as well as for the purchase of liquefied gas, solid and liquid stove fuel.
