In Truskavets, 57 families received 10,000 UAH each for the birth of a child

In the Truskavets municipal territorial community, in the first half of 2026, 57 families made use of their right to targeted one-off financial assistance from the city budget on the birth of a child. Each family receives 10,000 UAH for each newborn child, so the total amount of payments came to 570,000 UAH. In June, 6 families applied for this payment. Among the 57 newborns there were 31 girls and 26 boys.

The assistance is provided in accordance with the Programme for Social Support of Families with Newborn Children in the Truskavets Municipal Territorial Community “Care for the Future”. The programme was developed on the initiative of the Mayor, Andriy Kulchynskyi, and approved by the Truskavets City Council in February 2025.

The right to receive the payment is granted to parents of newborn children who are residents of the community, registered and actually living there for at least 12 months prior to the child’s birth, as well as to internally displaced persons who are registered as IDPs and have been living in the community for at least 12 months prior to the child’s birth.

The assistance is granted upon application by one of the parents, provided the child was born after 1 January 2025. The application may be submitted within 12 months from the child’s date of birth. A mandatory condition is the registration of the newborn child at the place of residence in the Truskavets municipal territorial community, and for IDPs, being registered as an internally displaced person at the actual place of residence of the parents in the community.

To receive the payment, the applicant must personally submit, via the Administrative Services Centre (CNAP), an application and a set of documents to the Department of Social Protection of the Population of the Truskavets City Council, which includes:

  • a copy of an identity document (Ukrainian citizen’s passport or ID card) and a copy of the applicant’s taxpayer registration card number;

  • a record confirming the family’s actual place of residence;
  • a bank certificate with the account details for the transfer of funds.

Copies of documents must be submitted together with the originals for verification of their authenticity.
