The planned targets were exceeded by UAH 1.5 billion.
The Department of Finance of the Lviv Regional State Administration reported on the results of budget execution by revenues in January-July 2024.
The general fund of the regional budget received UAH 18.6 billion in taxes and payments. The planned targets were exceeded by UAH 1.5 billion or 9 percent. The level of fulfillment of annual plans is 62 percent.
Compared to the same period last year, the region’s budget revenues remain UAH 1.2 billion or 6 percent lower.
“We would like to remind you that this is due to the full transfer of personal income tax from the military to the state budget. In comparable conditions, we have an increase in revenues by UAH 3.6 billion, or 24 percent.
Taxpayers in the region paid UAH 73 billion in taxes to the state budget, which is UAH 17.1 billion or 31 percent more than in the corresponding period last year (in comparable conditions),” the department said.
