The Belz City Territorial Community has announced that the land tax for individuals for 2026 has already been assessed. Residents are asked to pay it within two months from the date of receiving the tax notice-decision in order to avoid incurring tax arrears.
Payment slips can be obtained at the Land Department of the Belz City Council or at the starosta district office at the place of residence. It is also possible to check for any outstanding debt for previous years and make payment online via the Local Taxes Portal and the dedicated Belz community Telegram bot.
The community emphasises that the Belz City Council, starostas and clerks do not assess the land tax and do not determine its amount; they only provide information support regarding the receipt of payment slips and making payments.
The appeal also stresses that the timely payment of taxes is an important source of revenue for the local budget, which funds public amenities, the social sphere and the implementation of key development projects in the Belz community.
