This number of memorial tables was approved by the executive committee of the Lviv City Council in 2023. All tables will be installed according to the model approved by the city this year.
As reported in the architecture department of the Lviv City Council, most of the commemorative plaques will be installed at educational institutions – lyceums and schools of the city, three – at residential buildings in Lviv, and one more – at the university building.
“In general, we are talking about 41 memorial tables, which were approved in the city according to the new model. They are mostly installed on school facades. In some places, several signs are planned to be placed on the building of the educational institution. So, for example, there will be 10 memorial plaques on the facade of SZSh No. 65 in Lviv: 7 new models and 3 more, installed earlier, in honor of the defenders who studied at this school and died back in 2014,” the administration explains. architecture of the Lviv City Council.
