Pupils of Lyceum No. 4 in Drohobych gave tasty treats to defenders as part of the New Year’s support campaign

The war changed the lives of all Ukrainians. The second year of a full-scale invasion activates the resources of all sentient inhabitants to work for victory, deliver military musters, and help each in their own place.

Children and young people do not stand aside from helping soldiers. In Drohobych, schoolchildren systematically organize collections of sweets and creative works, which are sent to the front lines to our Heroes. In addition, in the warm season, children set up roadblocks on the streets of the city and thus accumulate funds to support the defenders.

These days, students of Lyceum No. 4 named after Lesya Ukrainka came to the family and youth department with pleasant gifts for the military – sweet oranges as part of the campaign “An orange for a soldier”. Active schoolchildren prepared several boxes of fragrant oranges for the soldiers.

As the collection and formation of gifts continues these days on the occasion of the approaching Christmas and New Year holidays, oranges will certainly be added to the formed transfers for the soldiers and handed over to them, the Department of Family and Youth of the DMR claims. In addition, part of the goodies are also planned to be given to our National Guardsmen and servicemen of the A-1108 military unit.

The campaign “Orange for the military” continues and every educational institution of the community can join it.

Also, as the head of the family and youth department Oleksandra Pashko reported, a collection of creative works of students and student youth of the city has been announced these days for the traditional Christmas and New Year fair, which will be held in the walls of the Drohobytsk City Council. At the fair, everyone will have the opportunity to buy a New Year’s or patriotic decoration and thereby donate to the needs of the Armed Forces.
