Builders from Chervonohrad Oblast are restoring housing in Nova Zora

A team, which includes specialists from Sokal, Chervonograd, and Sosnivka, is restoring homes in the Kherson region.

Since mid-July, within the framework of the “Side by Side” program, construction crews from the Lviv region have been working in three settlements of the Kherson region. For almost two months of work in the villages of Nova Zorya, Tavriyske and Bila Krynytsia, half a hundred private residential buildings were repaired, the work is still ongoing.

“There are two construction crews working in Nova Zora. Now 12 private houses have been completely restored there. It is about replacing windows, doors and roofs. All building materials are brought from Lviv region. Another 12 houses are under restoration. Damaged housing is being repaired as a priority, and people can move into it immediately after the work is completed,” said the acting director. head of capital construction department of Lviv Regional State Administration Roman Dulya.

At this stage, in particular, a team from Chervonograd District is restoring homes in Kherson Oblast, which includes specialists from Sokal, Chervonograd, and Sosnivka.

“In total, 30 private houses need restoration in Nova Zora, now the 13th is at the stage of completion. Some of the houses are empty, people have not yet returned, and some of them are already occupied by the owners. In Nova Zora, the situation is relatively safe, there were no flights to the village itself during our work, but drones can be heard from time to time, and the sounds of explosions are not far away,” shared Volodymyr, a representative of Bagenbor PE.

As for other settlements, in the village of Tavriyske brigades from the Lviv region repaired 11 residential buildings, and construction work is being carried out in another 22. In Bila Krynytsia, work was completed in 20 houses, and work was started in another 55 houses.

As a reminder, Lviv Oblast is one of 15 regions of Ukraine that joined the “Side by Side” project, which aims to help rebuild the communities of Kherson Oblast, which were the most affected by Russian aggression.
