Queues to exit to Poland at Lviv border checkpoints

Ahead of the weekend, an increase in passenger flow and queues of vehicles leaving Ukraine has been recorded on the Ukrainian-Polish border within Lviv region. Travellers are advised to take this into account when planning their journeys and, where possible, to choose less busy checkpoints.

As of now, the queues to leave Ukraine are as follows:

  • Ugryniv checkpoint – around 20 cars and 2 buses;
  • Hrushiv checkpoint – approximately 10 cars;
  • Krakivets checkpoint – about 25 cars and 1 bus;
  • Shehyni checkpoint – roughly 20 cars.

The least busy checkpoints for leaving Ukraine at the moment are Rava-Ruska, Smilnytsia and Nyzhankovychi.

On entry into Ukraine, a build-up of traffic is being recorded at the Shehyni checkpoint – around 20 cars and 2 buses. No significant queues to enter are being observed at other border crossing points.

Up-to-date information on the load at checkpoints is published on the Facebook page of the Western Regional Directorate of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine and the 7th Carpathian Border Guard Detachment.
