On Saturday, December 17, in the city of Truskavets at 4:00 p.m., a memorial service will be held at the International Rehabilitation Clinic named after Kozyavkina (Pomyretska St., 37).
And on Sunday, December 18, in Lviv:
From 9:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., a farewell will be held at the House of Scientists (6 Listopadovoy Chinu St.)
12:30 – Funeral Mass in the Garrison Church of the Holy Apostles Peter and Paul (Tetralna Street, 11)
From there, the funeral procession will move to Rynok Square, and then to the Lychakiv Cemetery.
1:30 p.m. – burial ceremony at the Lychakiv cemetery (field #6)
Volodymyr Kozyavkin is a Ukrainian scientist in the field of medicine, the author of a unique method of treating children with cerebral palsy. He was a professor of the rehabilitation department of the National Medical Academy of Postgraduate Education named after P. Shupyk, a full member of the National Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine, a Hero of Ukraine, president of Kozyavkin Medical Group (previously general director of the International Rehabilitation Clinic in Truskavets and the Rehabilitation Center “Elita” (Lviv).
Volodymyr Kozyavkin died on Friday, December 16.
