Oleksandr Tishchenko, former head of the Lviv TCC and deputy of the Lviv Regional Council from the Servant of the People party, has resigned his deputy mandate

Oleksandr Tishchenko, former head of the Lviv TCC and a member of the Lviv Regional Council from the Servant of the People party, has written a letter of resignation from the regional council.

He wrote it on 16 February. The application is to be considered at the next session on 27 February.

Tishchenko was the chief military commissar of the region from 2017 to 2020, until he became a deputy. Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, he has been in charge of the TCC again.

During the wave of dismissals of all military officers, he wrote a letter of resignation and began active volunteering.

On 4 September 2023, 41-year-old Hero of Ukraine Denys Chayuk took over the Lviv Regional CCC. The order was issued by the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, General Valeriy Zaluzhnyi.
