As of 08:00 on 15 July 2026, minor changes in water levels are being observed on the rivers of Lviv region. According to the hydrometeorological network, during the past 24 hours most of the region received between 0.4 and 18 mm of precipitation, with localised rainfall in some areas reaching up to 44 mm, in particular at the hydrological post on the Stryi River near the settlement of Verkhnie Syniovydne.
On the region’s water bodies there was generally a slight rise in water levels of 1–16 cm over 24 hours, and in some places up to 40 cm, notably at the hydrological post on the Stryi River in the city of Stryi. Water temperatures in the rivers of Lviv region ranged from 11.0 to 22.0 degrees.
According to hydrologists, due to localised rainfall in the second half of 15 July there remains a likelihood of rapid rises in water levels on certain mountain tributaries of the Dniester. A warning on changes in the hydrological situation, issued on 14 July 2026, remains in force.
On the remaining rivers of the region, only minor fluctuations in water levels are expected, without any significant changes in the hydrological situation.
