The night of 17 May promises to be unsettled for Lviv region as meteorologists warn of storms expected across the entire area. Inclement weather is predicted to arrive in Lviv city overnight, as reported by the Lviv Regional Centre for Hydrometeorology.
The city council urges residents to adhere to simple safety rules during the storm: close windows and doors in homes, disconnect electrical appliances from the mains, avoid open areas outside, especially near trees that could be struck by lightning. It is also advisable to steer clear of metal objects such as fences or poles and not to use umbrellas.
If any unforeseen situations arise, the city authorities encourage contacting the city’s “Hotline” at 15-80. Heed the warnings and stay safe.
