There were no air alert notifications in the Lviv region during the past day.
This was announced by the head of the Lviv Regional Military Administration Maksym Kozytskyi.
“There was no threat of air-missile strikes in the region. We thank our defenders on all fronts for this,” said the head of the Lviv Oblast.
During the day, another 98 people arrived in Lviv Oblast by evacuation trains, 34 IDPs by evacuation bus. 1155 people from our region went to Przemyśl.
“The temporary special commission of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine presented Stepan Kuibida, director of the economic policy department of Lviv OVA, with thanks for his assistance in protecting business rights. Thanks to Stepan and the entire team of the Lviv OVA for the prompt and high-quality results of the work in the conditions of martial law,” said Maksym Kozytskyi.
He also informed that one more case of rabies was recorded in the Lviv region. A domestic dog died of rabies in the Ivano-Frankivsk community of the Yavoriv district. Victims and owners of animals are given an urgent course of anti-rabies vaccinations. Specialists also inspect and unscheduled rabies vaccination of domestic animals during yard visits.
“The International Organization for Migration (IOM) has provided humanitarian aid, including mattresses, blankets, sets of bed linen, pillows, folding chairs, solar lamps, and water canisters, for IDPs and Points of Unbreakability in the Stryi district,” said the head of the Lviv Oblast .
A monument to the famous father, composer, conductor and public figure Ostap Nyzhankivskyi will be erected in Stryi. The pedestal will be installed in the square in front of the church of St. Jacob, which is currently under construction. In addition, the Stryi community declared 2023 the year of Ostap and Nestor Nyzhankivskyi.
“Passage on state and local roads of the Lviv region is ensured. At night, 42 units of special equipment were brought in to clear the roads,” Maksym Kozytskyi added.
