Lviv handed over drones, night vision systems, walkie-talkies and tablets to the military

The city continues to support defenders. In particular, today Lviv handed over drones, night vision systems, walkie-talkies, tablets and binoculars to the military of the 125th separate territorial defense brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

“The equipment was purchased with the funds of the community of the city of Lviv, within the limits of the city-wide military support program, adopted at the session on the initiative of the mayor and all heads of factions. We also thank the patrons for the additional funds, which are very important today,” said Lviv First Deputy Mayor Andriy Moskalenko.

As a reminder, the city constantly allocates funds to the defense capability and support of the Lviv military, which defends Ukraine from Russian invaders: the 125th and 103rd Territorial Defense Brigades, separate 80th Airborne Assault Brigade and the 24th Mechanized Brigade named after King Danylo, and as well as other brigades performing combat tasks.

In general, since February 24 of last year, the defenders received over 185 million hryvnias from the taxes of Lviv residents. This is the tailoring of uniforms, the purchase of back-up power generators, means of communication, body armor, technical and operational support, fuel, etc.
