Lviv will cooperate with the World Tourism Organization (UNWTO) on the development of sustainable tourism. The parties agreed on this at the International Tourist Exhibition in Berlin, the Lviv Tourist Office reported.
“There is also an agreement with the Airbnb company, which will provide Lviv with analytical data to understand the short-term accommodation sector in the city’s apartments. The UN Plane Travel Magazine resource will distribute materials on its platforms about the tourist potential of Lviv. R. C. Marketing & Communication will help build a marketing and communication strategy to promote the destination after our victory. And representatives of the European Capital of Smart Tourism will provide advice and support in the development of “smart tourism”. Together with Visit Galicia, we will develop routes “from Galicia to Galicia”, – said the head of the tourism department of the LMR, Khrystyna Lebed.
We will remind you that on March 7-8, the largest world tourism exhibition – ITB Berlin 2023 – was held in Berlin. Our country was represented by a stand from the State Tourism Development Agency of Ukraine. The event was also attended by representatives of the Lviv Tourist Office: to explore current trends in the tourist positioning of countries and cities on the international market and to find partners for the development of the city’s tourism industry and the destination’s promotional opportunities.
