The Lviv community continues to support the Ukrainian army. Thanks to citizens’ taxes, this time the city hall purchased 53 Mavic 3T/3 drones and 6 generators.
Today they were handed over to the military, who are defending our country from the Russian aggressor.
Download photo 9.4 million hryvnias were allocated from the city budget for the purchase of this batch of drones, as part of the “Lion’s Revenge” initiative, and generators. And in general, in January-March 2024, Lviv supported the army for almost UAH 195 million.
We will remind you that Lviv constantly allocates funds for the defense capability and support of the military, which protects Ukraine from the Russian invaders. According to the city’s support program for the Armed Forces, at the request of military brigades and units, the city buys what is urgently needed on the front lines today, or provides subventions for it. These are drones, cars, walkie-talkies, various specialized technical things. In fact, the City Hall receives several requests for such assistance every day.
In general, in the budget of the Lviv MTG for 2024, UAH 1 billion is provided only for the purchase of equipment and necessary means for the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
