Lviv Oblast received 3,000 reflective elements from Poland

They will be distributed to kindergarten students and schoolchildren of the region.

This was announced by the head of Lviv OVA Maksym Kozytskyi.

The elements were handed over by Maksym Siarkevich, an authorized advisor to the Minister-Spokesperson for Children’s Rights of the Republic of Poland Mykolay Pavlyak.

“This help is especially needed now – for the safety of children in conditions of power outages and short daylight hours. Thank you!”, said the head of the region.

During the meeting, they also discussed joint steps for the near future to more effectively help Ukrainian children, in particular those who are currently in Poland.

“Since February 24, our neighbors have accepted more than 800,000 Ukrainian children for temporary residence. From the first days of the new phase of the war, the office of the Minister-Spokesperson for Children’s Rights of Poland introduced a hotline that works 24/7 and provides psychological assistance to Ukrainian citizens. If you are in Poland, you can call this number: 800121212. We thank our Polish brothers for their comprehensive support,” added Maksym Kozytskyi.
