The Main Directorate of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in Lviv Oblast received a German MAN fire truck with a 30-meter ladder as humanitarian aid.
The car was handed over on June 8 in the technical service detachment of the Main Directorate, with the participation of representatives of the IT company Avenga Ukraine and the public organization People’s Self-Defense of Lviv Region, with the assistance of the Rotary Club Rotary International. It was these organizations that made sure that the German car quickly reached Ukraine and replenished the fleet of Lviv rescuers. Thanks to this ladder, we will be able to respond even more quickly and efficiently to emergencies in high-rise buildings in the city.
Avenga Chief Operating Officer Yuriy Adamchuk said that the car is in good technical condition and will help save many lives, and wished the rescuers dry sleeves.
