Lviv Hydrometeorological Centre warns of ground frost and gusty winds in Lviv region

On 29 May, partly cloudy skies, scattered short showers with thunderstorms at night, ground frosts and a gusty north-westerly wind are expected across the Lviv region. This was reported by the Lviv Regional Hydrometeorological Centre.

The weather in the region will be shaped by the eastern periphery of an anticyclone over Europe. Variable cloud cover is forecast throughout the region. At night there will be scattered short showers with possible thunderstorms; during the day no significant precipitation is expected.

The wind is expected to be a north-westerly 9–14 m/s. Night-time air temperatures will range from 1–6°C, with possible ground and air frosts of 0–2°C in places. Daytime temperatures are forecast at 15–20°C.

In the city of Lviv, forecasters are also predicting variable cloudiness with no significant precipitation. The wind will be north-westerly 9–14 m/s. Night-time air temperatures will be 3–5°C, rising to 17–19°C during the day.

The Hydrometeorological Centre notes that visibility may deteriorate in precipitation. Atmospheric pressure will rise at night and fall during the day, while relative humidity will decrease.
