Lviv Mayor Andriy Sadovyi Slipped Twice Due to Icy Roads

Lviv Mayor Andriy Sadovyi shared a personal update on February 4, describing the challenges of moving around the city during icy conditions. According to him, he slipped and fell twice over the course of the day.

The city leader noted that even regular morning exercise, including squats, is not enough to stay balanced on ice-covered sidewalks and streets. Weather conditions proved to be more difficult than expected.

At the same time, the mayor emphasized that municipal services are operating in an intensified mode and are doing everything possible to improve the situation. However, road and sidewalk conditions across the city remain hazardous for both pedestrians and drivers.

In this context, Andriy Sadovyi urged residents and visitors of Lviv to remain especially cautious while traveling around the city, particularly during morning and evening hours.
