Residents of a modular town in Lviv handed over camouflage nets and trench candles to the soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine

Active residents and workers of the modular town in Sikhiv wove camouflage nets and made trench candles, and have already handed them over to our defenders on the front lines.

In particular, this time they handed over two camouflage nets and two boxes of trench candles to soldiers in the Kherson direction. And in general, the inhabitants of the town constantly weave camouflage nets for the soldiers and make trench candles.

“This is not the first season that our residents make trench candles. We collect cans and cardboard very easily, because residents receive some humanitarian aid, buy quality products for themselves, and cans accumulate. Residents looked on the Internet how to make such candles, how to twist the cardboard correctly, what shape it should be, which jars are best suited, and prepare candles for pouring on their own. But with wax and paraffin it is a little more difficult. The first fillings were from what was given to us, and residents also gave their candles for fillings from wax. But now we are already spending money and buying edible paraffin, and in fact, we already had the last fillings from it.

Residents also continue to weave nets, those who cannot stand for a long time, for example, prepare ribbons for such nets. That is, people constantly gather, communicate with each other and help our defenders – make candles or weave nets,” said Viktor Habitov, administrator of the modular town in Sikhiv.
