In the afternoon, on 20 August, it was reported that an object resembling an obsolete munition had been found in a field during excavation work near the village of Volsvyn, Chervonohrad district.
As specialists of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in Lviv region found out, the dangerous object was a 76 mm artillery shell from the Second World War. All necessary actions to destroy this obsolete munition have been taken.
‼ Do not endanger yourself: under no circumstances touch the dangerous object, carry or disassemble it, or throw it into a fire – it is very dangerous!
