Hero Zhupko Oleksandr Mykolayovych, born in 1981, has passed away in the Legion of Honor.
The sad news was reported today by the Chervonohrad City Council.
Oleksandr Zhupko, a senior mortar gunner of the mortar platoon of the military unit A4007, was killed on May 8 while performing a combat mission near the village of Arkhangelske in Donetsk region.

Oleksandr Mykolayovych Zhupko was born on December 25, 1981. He worked at the Chervonohradska mine of Lvivvuhillya since 2006, as a mine foreman of the preparatory work section No. 1. He defended his native land in March 2022. He lived in Chervonohrad, Lviv region. The wife, daughter, family and friends are mourning the loss of the deceased.
