Starting December 21, 2024, the number of road sections in the Lviv region monitored using TruCAM speed radars has increased, according to Ukraine’s Patrol Police.
The selected areas are based on accident analysis and include sections with high crash rates caused by speeding violations.
New road sections where TruCAM will be applied:
- M-09 (Lviv — Rava-Ruska (to Lublin)):
44–81 km, 97–115 km - H-13 (Lviv — Sambir — Uzhhorod):
10–35 km - R-15 (Kovel — Volodymyr — Chervonohrad — Zhovkva):
113–127 km - R-84 (Bibrka — Kamianka-Buzka — Zhovkva — Horodok — Mykolaiv — Zhydachiv — Kalush — Burshtyn):
203–206 km - T-14-02 (Skhidnytsia — Pisochna):
29–50 km - T-14-04 (Chervonohrad — Rava-Ruska):
1–8 km - T-14-10 (Brody — Chervonohrad):
55–78 km - T-14-16 (Lviv — Pustomyty — Medenychi):
7–23 km - T-14-20 (Yavoriv — Hrushiv):
1–15 km
Drivers will be informed of speed control zones through road signs and police vehicles equipped with flashing lights. Across Ukraine, TruCAM radars will be used on 346 road sections.
